The Connector Systems That Started A Legacy
Every legacy has a beginning, and Ductmate’s began with an innovative approach to rectangular duct connection that revolutionized the industry.
Since 1978, the DM ‘25’/‘35’/‘45’ self-sealing rectangular flange connection systems have delivered the proven performance customers count on. Today, the systems continue to carry that legacy forward, one connection at a time.
From commercial HVAC installations to demanding industrial and mega projects, the DM ‘25’/‘35’/‘45’ systems provide a strong, virtually leak-free alternative to traditional, labor-intensive duct connection methods. Each system is designed to create rigid, consistent rectangular duct connections while helping fabricators and installers save time, labor and effort. With three flange profiles engineered for different duct gauges and performance requirements, there is a Ductmate system built for nearly every rectangular duct application.
- DM ‘25’: Designed for lighter-gauge ductwork, DM ‘25’ is recommended for duct gauges from 26 through 20 gauge and is comparable in strength to a SMACNA Class F transverse joint. Its 24-gauge galvanized steel flange makes it a dependable, efficient choice for a wide range of HVAC applications.
- DM ‘35’: Built for applications requiring greater strength, DM ‘35’ is recommended for duct gauges from 26 through 16 gauge and is comparable to a SMACNA Class J transverse joint. It provides the versatility needed for demanding commercial and industrial projects.
- DM ‘45’: The heaviest-duty system in the family, DM ‘45’ is recommended for duct gauges from 22 through 10 gauge and is comparable to a SMACNA Class K transverse joint. It is engineered for large-scale ductwork where exceptional joint strength is essential.
