DM ‘35’, followed by its twin DM ‘25’, revolutionized the industry and paved the way, expanding our line of products to include leak-free connection systems for round and oval ductwork, energy-efficient access doors, turning vane systems, and more.

Duct Connectors

DM ‘25’/’35’/’45’ Connector Systems

The DM ‘25’/‘35’/‘45’® self-sealing rectangular flange connector systems provide a simple and reliable method for connecting rectangular duct that prioritizes airtightness, strength, and installation efficiency when a rigid, leak-free connection is required—ideal for projects ranging from commercial HVAC to demanding industrial and mega‑project environments (data centers, processing plants, transit, arenas, and more).

Backed by rigorous testing and our industry-leading guarantee, this superior solution not only saves you time, money, and effort but also ensures exceptional performance, making your operations more efficient and cost-effective.

The system features precision-engineered components for seamless assembly and a strong, leak-free connection:

• Roll-formed Flanges with Integral Mastic: Ensure a tight seal against the duct wall for a superior, leak-free connection. Integrated mastic eliminates the need for separate sealant applications, saving time and labor during assembly.
• Corners: Reinforce the ductwork structure to hold everything together securely and provide a dedicated sealing surface for the gasket, further optimizing the system’s airtight integrity.
• Gasket: Forms a vital barrier between the flanges to prevent air leaks and ensures optimal airflow within the duct system.
• Cleats (Versa-Cleat or Bolt-On): Guarantee consistent compression and secure, efficient assembly, even on large duct spans.

All DM systems are available in a variety of specialty metals.

Spiralmate & Ventmate Round Connector Systems

Sold as a complete set, Spiralmate®  is a three-piece, self-sealing round duct connector system featuring a one-bolt closure band, providing an innovative and cost-effective solution for fast, safe, and aesthetically pleasing airtight connections.

Beyond innovative design, Spiralmate offers clear advantages over traditional round connector systems. Its engineered simplicity results in a lower overall installed cost, as the complete system eliminates the need for purchasing separate components, sealants, and additional labor. Its unique one-bolt closure band not only speeds up the installation process and reduces potential leakage, but also enhances worker safety by removing labor-intensive and time-consuming screw applications. Eliminating unsightly screws and sealant creates a clean, seamless connection, ideal for architectural applications on exposed duct systems.

Spiralmate is available in standard sizes ranging from 8” to 72” in 2” increments and in six different alloys with or without mastic for a range of specialty applications. Consult Customer Service for additional sizes and 1” increments. To simplify double-wall installation, press-on inner rings are available, featuring a double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive to remove the need for costly welding.

For specialized applications, such as underground mining or tunneling, our Ventmate alternative features the same integral sealant and neoprene gasket embedded into a wider closure band to enhance the airtight seal where flush connections are not possible.

Formulated Products

Sealants

Our sealants are formulated to provide exceptional performance for both indoor and outdoor applications. They are uniquely designed and formulated to address common challenges, such as mildew resistance, meeting stringent UL specifications, and maintaining flexibility even in demanding conditions.

Alongside excellent adhesion to metal, our sealants have a lower brush drag, resulting in better spreadability and allowing for a more even and consistent coating, ensuring an airtight, leak-free seal.

PROseal & FIBERseal

• Premium Formulation: PROseal® and FIBERseal® are high-velocity duct sealants that use premium polymers in their formulation.

EVERseal & EZseal

• Commercial Grade Formulation: EVERseal™ and EZseal® are cost-effective, commercial-grade, water-based duct sealants used to seal metal joints against air leaks in low, medium, and high-pressure duct systems.

PROseal Spray

• Ideal for Shop Applications & Large Projects: With PROseal Spray, you can quickly spray on the sealant instead of applying it with a brush, resulting in significant labor savings.
• Works With a Wide Variety of Equipment: PROseal Spray works easily with a wide variety of equipment (contact Ductmate customer service for more information).

Adhesives

Our adhesives are formulated to deliver strong, long-lasting bonds that can withstand temperature fluctuations, vibrations, and pressure changes within HVAC systems.

Gecko Glue Gold & Gecko Glue Silver

• Sustainable Choice: Gecko Glue™ Gold and Gecko Glue Silver are water-based adhesives that offer an environmentally friendly alternative to solvent-based options. They are LEED-compliant, CDPH-compliant, Low in VOCs, and UL-classified.
• Industry-Leading: Gecko Glue has one of the quickest drying times in the industry for a water-based adhesive. It also has a market-leading wet tack, strong dry tack, and smooth finish.
• Versatility for Different Duct Liners: Gecko Glue works well with various duct liners and insulation materials, including PolyArmor, elastomeric, and fiberglass.
• Cost-Effective Bulk Options: Consider Gecko Glue totes for large projects. One 275-gallon tote holds the equivalent of five 55-gallon drums, saving on storage space and costs. They’re also easier to handle and reduce changeover time, leading to labor savings. Additionally, Gecko Glue totes are compatible with existing coil lines and sprayers used with standard drums.

Gecko Glue Concentrate

• Reduced Costs: Gecko Glue Concentrate allows you to mix the adhesive on-site in just 10-15 minutes, saving on pre-mixed drum costs and shipping expenses. This is a good option for projects requiring smaller quantities or those where storage space is limited.
• Extended Product Life: Gecko Glue Concentrate has an extended shelf life when unmixed and a 6-18 month shelf life after mixing.

PolyArmor Duct Liner Insulation

Our PolyArmor™ polyester duct liner insulation has emerged as a superior alternative to traditional insulation materials, offering a compelling blend of performance, installation, and environmental benefits.

• Fiber-Free and Safe: PolyArmor eliminates fiber shedding and does not break down in the airstream, creating a cleaner and healthier indoor environment.   Its polyester material is soft and hypoallergenic, eliminating irritation during handling that you would typically experience with fiberglass insulation.
• Superior Moisture Resistance: PolyArmor’s polyester construction provides exceptional resistance to moisture and condensation, minimizing the risk of mold growth.
• Easy Installation: Designed for ease of installation, PolyArmor reduces labor costs and installation time, with its flexible nature allowing it to conform to any duct shape.
• Enhanced Thermal Performance: PolyArmor provides industry-leading R-values/thermal resistance, contributing to increased energy efficiency and reduced system load.
• Durability and Longevity: PolyArmor is engineered from strong and safe polyester that is webbed into a thermal blanket, which is then bonded with an extremely durable FSK-facing that reduces damage during fabrication, operation, and cleaning.
