Duct Connectors

DM ‘25’/’35’/’45’ Connector Systems

The DM ‘25’/‘35’/‘45’® self-sealing rectangular flange connector systems provide a simple and reliable method for connecting rectangular duct that prioritizes airtightness, strength, and installation efficiency when a rigid, leak-free connection is required—ideal for projects ranging from commercial HVAC to demanding industrial and mega‑project environments (data centers, processing plants, transit, arenas, and more).

Backed by rigorous testing and our industry-leading guarantee, this superior solution not only saves you time, money, and effort but also ensures exceptional performance, making your operations more efficient and cost-effective.

The system features precision-engineered components for seamless assembly and a strong, leak-free connection:

  • Roll-formed Flanges with Integral Mastic: Ensure a tight seal against the duct wall for a superior, leak-free connection. Integrated mastic eliminates the need for separate sealant applications, saving time and labor during assembly.
  • Corners: Reinforce the ductwork structure to hold everything together securely and provide a dedicated sealing surface for the gasket, further optimizing the system’s airtight integrity.
  • Gasket: Forms a vital barrier between the flanges to prevent air leaks and ensures optimal airflow within the duct system.
  • Cleats (Versa-Cleat or Bolt-On): Guarantee consistent compression and secure, efficient assembly, even on large duct spans.

All DM systems are available in a variety of specialty metals.

Spiralmate & Ventmate Round Connector Systems

Sold as a complete set, Spiralmate®  is a three-piece, self-sealing round duct connector system featuring a one-bolt closure band, providing an innovative and cost-effective solution for fast, safe, and aesthetically pleasing airtight connections.

Beyond innovative design, Spiralmate offers clear advantages over traditional round connector systems. Its engineered simplicity results in a lower overall installed cost, as the complete system eliminates the need for purchasing separate components, sealants, and additional labor. Its unique one-bolt closure band not only speeds up the installation process and reduces potential leakage, but also enhances worker safety by removing labor-intensive and time-consuming screw applications. Eliminating unsightly screws and sealant creates a clean, seamless connection, ideal for architectural applications on exposed duct systems.

Spiralmate is available in standard sizes ranging from 8” to 72” in 2” increments and in six different alloys with or without mastic for a range of specialty applications. Consult Customer Service for additional sizes and 1” increments. To simplify double-wall installation, press-on inner rings are available, featuring a double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive to remove the need for costly welding.

For specialized applications, such as underground mining or tunneling, our Ventmate alternative features the same integral sealant and neoprene gasket embedded into a wider closure band to enhance the airtight seal where flush connections are not possible.

Formulated Products

Sealants

Our sealants are formulated to provide exceptional performance for both indoor and outdoor applications. They are uniquely designed and formulated to address common challenges, such as mildew resistance, meeting stringent UL specifications, and maintaining flexibility even in demanding conditions.

Alongside excellent adhesion to metal, our sealants have a lower brush drag, resulting in better spreadability and allowing for a more even and consistent coating, ensuring an airtight, leak-free seal.

PROseal & FIBERseal
  • Premium Formulation: PROseal® and FIBERseal® are high-velocity duct sealants that use premium polymers in their formulation.
EVERseal & EZseal
  • Commercial Grade Formulation: EVERseal™ and EZseal® are cost-effective, commercial-grade, water-based duct sealants used to seal metal joints against air leaks in low, medium, and high-pressure duct systems.
PROseal Spray
  • Ideal for Shop Applications & Large Projects: With PROseal Spray, you can quickly spray on the sealant instead of applying it with a brush, resulting in significant labor savings.
  • Works With a Wide Variety of Equipment: PROseal Spray works easily with a wide variety of equipment (contact Ductmate customer service for more information).

Adhesives

Our adhesives are formulated to deliver strong, long-lasting bonds that can withstand temperature fluctuations, vibrations, and pressure changes within HVAC systems.

Gecko Glue Gold & Gecko Glue Silver
  • Sustainable Choice: Gecko Glue™ Gold and Gecko Glue Silver are water-based adhesives that offer an environmentally friendly alternative to solvent-based options. They are LEED-compliant, CDPH-compliant, Low in VOCs, and UL-classified.
  • Industry-Leading: Gecko Glue has one of the quickest drying times in the industry for a water-based adhesive. It also has a market-leading wet tack, strong dry tack, and smooth finish.
  • Versatility for Different Duct Liners: Gecko Glue works well with various duct liners and insulation materials, including PolyArmor, elastomeric, and fiberglass.
  • Cost-Effective Bulk Options: Consider Gecko Glue totes for large projects. One 275-gallon tote holds the equivalent of five 55-gallon drums, saving on storage space and costs. They’re also easier to handle and reduce changeover time, leading to labor savings. Additionally, Gecko Glue totes are compatible with existing coil lines and sprayers used with standard drums.
Gecko Glue Concentrate
  • Reduced Costs: Gecko Glue Concentrate allows you to mix the adhesive on-site in just 10-15 minutes, saving on pre-mixed drum costs and shipping expenses. This is a good option for projects requiring smaller quantities or those where storage space is limited.
  • Extended Product Life: Gecko Glue Concentrate has an extended shelf life when unmixed and a 6-18 month shelf life after mixing.
PolyArmor Duct Liner Insulation

Our PolyArmor™ polyester duct liner insulation has emerged as a superior alternative to traditional insulation materials, offering a compelling blend of performance, installation, and environmental benefits.

  • Fiber-Free and Safe: PolyArmor eliminates fiber shedding and does not break down in the airstream, creating a cleaner and healthier indoor environment.   Its polyester material is soft and hypoallergenic, eliminating irritation during handling that you would typically experience with fiberglass insulation.
  • Superior Moisture Resistance: PolyArmor’s polyester construction provides exceptional resistance to moisture and condensation, minimizing the risk of mold growth.

The Right Access Door for Any Job– Every Time

Ductmate’s access doors make inspection, cleaning, and maintenance faster and easier.

Many of our doors are designed for quick installation with time-saving features such as self‑adhesive cut templates, no frames to install, and effortless opening/closing that doesn’t require special tools, helping you to save time in the field.

Whether you’re working with rectangular or round ductwork, our variety of Sandwich®-style, ULtimate™, and square-framed access doors ensures you’ll have the right access door for any job– every time.

Sandwich-Style Doors:

Sandwich-style doors are available in insulated and uninsulated options. They are extremely versatile and can be used for a wide range of applications, including high-temperature applications, duct cleaning, or viewing ultraviolet lights in air handling units.

Our Sandwich-style doors include: Rectangular Duct Sandwich Door, Round Duct Sandwich Door, F1-High Temp Sandwich Door, F2 Grease Duct Sandwich Door, Observation Sandwich Door, Single-Pane Sandwich Observation Door, AHU Viewport Access Panel, Clean-Out Sandwich Door, and Circular Clean-Out Sandwich Door.

UL-Listed ULtimate Doors:

Our ULtimate grease duct access doors provide easy access to high-temperature air ducts and grease duct systems and were designed for applications requiring UL 1978 listing. Unlike shop-fabricated and inferior, light-gauge grease duct door substitutes, this high-performance lineup is designed to meet the challenges. They are the most extensively engineered, tested, and ruggedly constructed doors available in the industry.

Included in this lineup are: ULtimate Door (Sandwich-style), ULtimate Door Round (Sandwich-style for round duct), and ULtimate Door II (weld-on).

Design and engineering choices when choosing a grease duct access door can mean the difference between life and death for building occupants and first responders.  When life safety and building performance are your number one priority, Ductmate’s ULtimate grease duct access doors are superior to the competition.

Square-Framed Doors:

Square-Framed access doors are a low-pressure door for rectangular ducts that provide easy access to air ducts and units. Developed as an inexpensive alternative to our Sandwich-style access doors for low-pressure applications, Square-Framed doors meet SMACNA requirements for low-pressure doors. They are insulated with 1” high-density fiberglass insulation and are double gasketed with a closed-cell, cross-linked polyethylene gasket.

Square-framed doors are available with tab-in or press-on style frames, both designed to ensure quick and easy installation. Our square-framed doors include: Hinge & Cam Square-Framed Door, Cam Latch Square-Framed Door, and High-Pressure Cammed Square Framed Door.

All tab-in frames are manufactured with fastened corners for increased strength and feature an improved dovetail design for metal duct, 1” duct board, and 1 ½” duct board. Press-on frames include a durable double-sided adhesive gasket, allowing for easier and safer installation on metal ductwork.

For high-pressure applications, our all-cam tab-in version is also available in a high-pressure square frame door, with a pressure rating of -10”/+10” w.g.

Moisture Drain

Our Moisture Drain provides a reliable, cost‑effective solution for managing unwanted moisture in ductwork and drain pans, helping to prevent leaks, corrosion, and potential system damage.

Designed for fast and easy installation, the drain forms a leak‑proof connection that efficiently directs collected moisture away from the duct system. Its unique funnel design draws the surrounding duct area inward, ensuring consistent and complete drainage even in the most challenging moisture conditions.

Circular Clean-Out Sandwich Access Doors

Our Circular Clean-Out Sandwich access doors are designed for professional duct cleaners who need quick, clean, repeatable access to ductwork and air handling units without the time-consuming steps and messy finishes of traditional clean-out methods. Offered in 8″, 10″, and 12″, this door is precision-built to be a perfect fit for securing the metal vacuum-hose adapter, helping crews set up faster and work more efficiently.

Installation is simplified without the need for metal plates, drilling screws, tape, or sealant, resulting in less labor, fewer reworks, and no duct distortion from re-drilling. Simply cut the opening, insert the door at an angle, and hand-tighten the wingnuts for a neat, professional appearance and easy access every time. It’s one of the smartest and most cost-effective doors in our lineup.

Adhesives:

Encapsulating Edge Coatings:

Our edge coatings are specifically formulated to be resistant to moisture, mold, and mildew, ensuring long-lasting protection.

Our line of encapsulating edge coatings includes: Quick-Stick Fiber Guard, Super Liner Seal (SLS™), and LAG-IT™.

Gaskets

Gasket is necessary to ensure airtight, leak-proof connections at joints, flanges, and access points. We offer different gasket options for a wide range of applications to provide long-lasting and durable bonds.

Our line of gaskets includes: DM 440™ Butyl Gasket Tape & Patches, Neoprene Gasket Tape, 5511M™ Mastic, and Sticky Tape.

Rapidmate Corners

The Rapidmate corner lineup is the most advanced, labor-saving corner system in the industry, with advanced design features that save time in both the shop and the field. Cable Shark Cable Hanging System

Our innovative, next-generation Cable Shark® Cable Hanging System is designed and engineered specifically to meet the unique demands and challenges of hanging commercial HVAC duct systems. With unparalleled safety, strength, and reliability, the Cable Shark mechanisms feature an advanced design that includes exclusive built-in load indicators and an easy-to-use load setter/adjustment tool. TDC & TDF Components

We offer a variety of TDC® & TDF® components for transverse duct connector or transverse duct flange applications, including corners, cleat, and gasket.  Corners are available for both manual and machine insertion.

Turning Vane Systems

We offer various turning vane systems for directing airflow around elbows in duct systems, including noise-reducing acoustical turning vane for those systems that require quiet operating systems.

Access Doors

Sandwich Access Doors

Sandwich® Doors are solid, leak-proof access doors that are simple to install, providing easy access to ductwork.  Its unique sandwich-style design with knobs that are easily turned by hand allows for effortless opening and closing with no tools required, and no measuring needed, thanks to a provided self-adhesive template.

Sandwich Doors are available in both insulated and uninsulated options, as well as a wide variety of alloys. Additionally, single-pane and double-pane observation-style sandwich access doors are available to allow for viewing inside duct without door removal.

ULtimate Access Doors

The ULtimate Door™ provides easy access to high-temperature air ducts and grease duct systems, and is designed for applications requiring a UL 1978 listing.  Unlike shop-fabricated and inferior, light-gauge grease duct door substitutes, Ductmate’s high-performance ULtimate Doors are designed to meet the challenges. They are the most extensively engineered, tested, and ruggedly constructed doors available in the industry.

ULtimate Doors are grease and liquid-tight with minimal penetration into the duct, and are UL 1978-listed and meet NFPA 96 standards. Its sandwich-style design allows them to be completely removed or installed in minutes.  No frames to install, no holes to drill, and no clips needed, dramatically reducing field installation time and labor.  The ULtimate Door and ULtimate Door Round, and the weld-on style ULtimate Door II are available for when life safety and building performance are your top priority.

Hangers

Pre-Punched Trapeze Duct Hanger

The Pre-Punched Trapeze Duct Hanger is a specialized duct support channel designed to support rectangular and oval ductwork. Made from 18-gauge galvanized steel and measuring 2″ high x 1.5″ wide, this lightweight and easy-to-cut product arrives at the job site in 20-foot lengths, pre-punched with oval holes at 2-inch intervals for immediate use.

Its versatile design eliminates the need for hard-to-cut and punch-angle iron, and it can be standardized to replace multiple hanger types, thereby potentially reducing inventory costs. The hanger’s neat, professional appearance is complemented by the option to insert heavy neoprene gaskets for sound isolation, and it can be secured to structural members up to 1.5 inches thick using its beam clamp.

Isolation Hanger Type SI

The Isolation Hanger Type SI is a sturdy, vibration-isolating steel hanging bracket featuring a rubber isolation pad, designed for use with threaded rods to suspend ductwork and other equipment, isolating vibration at its source.

Capable of supporting up to 1100 lbs (499 kg), the sturdy tension brackets have a much greater load-bearing capacity than the corresponding threaded rods.  Its styrene-butadiene rubber padding isolates vibration at its source, preventing distracting noise transmission and extending the lifespan of HVAC equipment by reducing wear and tear. The outside dimensions match standard wrench sizes, so no special tools are required, making installation easy. The open space of the bracket corresponds to the width of the nut, preventing it from turning.

Round Duct Hanger

Install your round ductwork quickly and effortlessly with our Round Duct Hanger. This prefabricated hanger features a ¼” x 20 carriage bolt with a zinc-plated wing nut and lock washer for secure, tool-free installation. Available in a range of sizes from 3” to 10” in 1” increments and 12” to 34” in 2” increments to perfectly fit your ductwork. Constructed from durable 20-gauge galvanized metal for long-lasting performance.

Round Duct Strap Bracket

Our versatile Round Duct Strap Bracket supports ductwork up to a generous 50” diameter. Designed to accommodate 1” wide strapping in gauges 18-22, it offers flexible installation options. Easily attach your preferred hanging system with compatibility for Cable Shark Hanger Adapters, 3/8” and 5/16” rods, or eyebolts. This bracket is a crucial component for secure and efficient ductwork suspension when used in conjunction with strapping and your chosen hanging method.

PROflex Flexible Duct Connector

PROflex™ is a flexible duct connector designed to isolate equipment noise and vibration from the ductwork, consisting of a fabric secured to sheet metal on both sides.

Versa-Cleat Snap-On Cleat

Versa-Cleat® is made from 22-gauge roll-formed steel for application around the perimeter of transverse joints.  It’s available in a variety of alloys, including Galvanized, Galvanneal, 304 Stainless Steel, PVC-Coated, and Aluminized in 6” or 10’ lengths.  The unique design of this snap-on cleat allows it to be used in conjunction with a variety of TDC connections, along with DM ‘35’ or ‘45’ connector systems.

Repeater4200 Fastener Gun

The Repeater4200 is the quickest flange fastener in the industry, and is ideal for DM ‘25’/’35’/’45’, Spiralmate & Ventmate, and ECONOflange connector systems. ECONOflange™ Round & Oval Connector Systems

The ECONOflange Round and ECONOflange Oval Connector Systems were designed to be user-friendly and provide exceptional performance, making them the most cost-effective and economical round and flat oval flange connection systems in the industry. The connectors’ simple installation process, which utilizes screws to attach the system to the duct wall, makes it easy to install on-site with no special tools required.

Designed as an alternative to our Spiralmate system, ECONOflange Round is available in sizes ranging from 8” to 72” in standard 2” increments as welded or with a split ring to accommodate minor deviations in ductwork. Consult customer service for additional/larger sizes and increment options.

Available in 8” to 56” in standard 2” increments, the modular ECONOflange Oval system consists of semi-circular end flange sections and straight flange.  The semi-circular end pieces are sold individually with the bolted connector pieces welded onto the ends to make installation quick, safe, and easy. ECONOflange Oval can be installed on reducing fittings in the same manner as a small end collar, eliminating the need for collars, unlike other traditional connector systems.

Press-on and weld-on inner ring options are available for ECONOflange round, and press-on oval bullnosing is available for ECONOflange Oval.  Both ECONOflange Round and Oval are available in additional alloys.

Quick-Sleeve™ Round Connector System

Quick-Sleeve is a single-bolt band clamp that provides a simple, leak-free connection for round ducts and does not protrude into the airstream, making it ideal for air conditioning, ventilation, and dust collection systems.

No end preparation of ductwork is required.  To install Quick-Sleeve, simply loosen its bolt, insert each duct about halfway into the connector, and then tighten the bolt.  This enables easy connection disassembly and reassembly for ducts requiring periodic cleaning or maintenance.

Single-bolt connections are available for ducts ranging from 3” to 18”.  For superior structural integrity, double-bolt connections are available for ducts ranging from 4” to 18”.  Additional alloys and gasket options are available upon request.

Round Sandwich Door

The Round Sandwich Door is a solid, leak-proof door that is simple to install, providing easy access to round air ductwork and units.  Its unique sandwich-style design with knobs that are easily turned by hand allows for effortless opening and closing with no tools required, and no measuring needed, thanks to a provided self-adhesive template.

The Sandwich Round Door is available in both insulated and uninsulated options, as well as a wide variety of alloys.

Round ULtimate Door

The Round ULtimate Door provides easy access to high-temperature air ducts and grease duct systems, and is designed for applications requiring a UL 1978 listing.  Unlike shop-fabricated and inferior, light-gauge grease duct door substitutes, Ductmate’s high-performance ULtimate Doors are designed to meet the challenges. They are the most extensively engineered, tested, and ruggedly constructed doors available in the industry.

ULtimate Doors are grease and liquid-tight with minimal penetration into the duct, and are UL 1978-listed and meet NFPA 96 standards. Its sandwich-style design allows them to be completely removed or installed in minutes.  No frames to install, no holes to drill, and no clips needed, dramatically reducing field installation time and labor.

The F1 Round Door is designed for high-temperature duct applications, featuring a fiberglass rope gasket that allows use at temperatures up to 1,000°F, while the F2 Round Door is designed for grease duct applications, featuring a ceramic fiber gasket that allows use at temperatures up to 2,300° F and meets NFPA 96 standards.

Neoprene Gasket Tape

Neoprene Gasket Tape is a synthetic, closed-cell, and rubber-based duct sealing tape ideal for ensuring a firm, reliable, and long-lasting airtight seal in round and flat oval ductwork.

Its pressure-sensitive adhesive backing allows for quick and easy installation. The durable nature of neoprene foam makes it simple to remove from ductwork without leaving a sticky residue or falling apart. This makes disassembling ducts for periodic cleaning or maintenance easier, allowing for a quick and straightforward application of new tape to reseal the connection.
